Wisdom Of The Zodiac (Scorpio)- Torkom Saraydarian
Introduction: Zodiacal Keynotes

Life must not be wasted because life does not belong to us. Once we understand this, we can start taking steps to develop our divine nature. We must develop ourselves in such a way that eventually we tune ourselves to the speed of evolution.
This idea is illustrated in the Aesop parable of “The Tortoise and the Hare.” Because the tortoise had concentration and the sense of timing, he refused to stop walking in the race. But because the hare thought he could beat the tortoise without much effort, he started to fool around on the way. The majority of human beings are like the hare in this parable. They are fooling around in life, wasting their time, energy, and matter.
We must start watching our physical, emotional, and mental life and find out what are the things that are retarding us and what are die things that are really speeding our evolution. We must live a life that is planned, a life that is organized, a life that is mathematically designed and has a chart as its outline.
You can create an actual chart and post it on your wall. On this chart, you will record the health and creativity of your body, emotions, and mind from day to day and month to month. You can chart your own ups and downs and correlate them to the particular zodiacal sign through which the sun is passing. The first day the sun enters a particular sign every month is day number one on your chart. From that day on, you will chart your physical, emotional, and mental activities, appetites, creativity, business, health, and relationships.
Each zodiacal sign is a tremendous source of energy, magnetism, and radioactivity that may affect your physical body, emotional body, mental body, and spiritual body. When they are affected, your life totally changes. The effect of these zodiacal signs is reflected in your life relationships.
Every zodiacal sign has a keynote. If you meditate on these keynotes, after one, two, or three years you will become very sensitive to the zodiacal influences and you will start watching and controlling your life scientifically so that yon do not waste time and energy and reach your destination as soon as possible.
Let us consider the keynotes of the zodiacal signs.
- The keynote of Scorpio is: “Warrior I am and from the battle I emerge triumphant.” Scorpio is the victory month. During the month of Scorpio yon must chart your victories. This is the month of the registration of your victories. You must not be interested in your failures because failure is so common. Yon must be interested in your gains. When yon realize that you can be a victorious person, you increase your trust in yourself. And once you have trust in yourself, you are a human being.
Etc….
A virtue is an actual chemical substance. Virtues are emphasized in all great religions and philosophies as the only means for transformation. Knowledge cannot change you; the only things that can change, transform, and transmute all your being are virtues.
The energy radiating from each zodiacal sign is translated by the human being as a particular virtue. Let us consider the twelve virtues associated with the twelve signs of our Zodiac:
- Scorpio creates fearlessness. Fearlessness is the ability to really know that you are not a body but the spirit. If you have this realization that yon are pure spirit, nothing can harm yon. Identification with matter is the source of fear. Fear is darkness; fear is sickness; fear is crime. Fearlessness is joy. Beauty, Goodness, and Truth. With fearlessness you enter the light instead of
going toward darkness.
Etc…
If you try to express each of these virtues in its particular month, you will attract the energy of the constellation into your system. Actually, the easiest thing to develop is the virtues because they are within us. We must try to make ourselves bloom.
